Questions

• Will the ceremony be a full mass?

  • Yes. The ceremony will be a full mass, including communion. It should last around an hour.
• Will there be time between the ceremony and reception?

  • Yes. The latest that we can start our ceremony is 2:00 pm due to reconciliation and Saturday evening mass at the cathedral. The cocktail hour will start at 4:30 pm. We apologize for this inconvience.
• What is the dress code?

  • The dress code is semi-formal.
• Is there a hotel block?

  • Yes, we have a hotel block at The Kahler Grand Hotel on Friday, June 13^th, and Saturday, June 14^th. This is a half mile from the reception venue and a quarter mile from the cathedral.
• Will I need to rent a car?

  • Not necessarily. The cathedral, reception venue, and hotel block are all within a 15 minute walk of each other in downtown Rochester. If you are flying in and plan ahead, there are transportation options to get from Minneapolis to Rochester. Note that there will likely be several roads closed downtown due to construction for the Destination Medical Center.
• Where are you registered?

  • We are registered at Target. A gift is not necessary or expected.
